Dr. Alexander Swistel

Dr. Alexander Swistel (Weill Cornell Breast Center, New York, NY) is an internationally renowned surgical oncologist.  As a pioneer in cancer research and treatment, Dr. Swistel works actively with NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and is a well-respected expert in the field of minimally invasive breast cancer surgery and patient care. He established the first comprehensive breast center in Manhattan at St. Luke’s hospital in 1986, which served as a model for other breast centers throughout New York City. In addition to recognition on several Best Doctor lists, Dr. Swistel was included in Who’s Who in America and has been quoted as an expert in media interviews and the news.
