CR&T was proud to host the 8th International Patient Symposium on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms on Tuesday, November 4, 2015. This full-day educational event, which takes place every two years, was held at the Belfer Research Building at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. The Symposium enables patients and their families to learn about the latest developments in the research and treatment of the myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
Guests from 20 states and several foreign countries attended the 2015 event, which featured presentations by distinguished basic scientists and clinical research physicians from the world’s most prestigious MPN centers. Richard T. Silver, MD, CR&T’s vice president and medical director, was the Program Chair and David Boule, CR&T’s president, served as Patient Committee Chair.
